For those signing up after Feb. 6th, a deposit of $200 is due with your Commitment Form and the balance (split into two equal installments) is due every other month.

Interns Wanted

Alambria Springs Farm, CSA is located in Lebanon, NY near Colgate University. Alambria Springs Farm produces over 200 varieties of vegetables, as well as, herbs, fruits, and honey using organic/biodynamic practices on approx. 7 of our over 200+ acre farm. Currently we grow for our 80+ member CSA and three local upscale restaurants, and local farmers markets. In addition, we are in the process of implementing a diary goat herd for milk and cheese production, and constructing an earthen bread oven for production of a variety of baked items for our CSA and local restaurants. The bread oven is a continuation of our sustainable building efforts that include our completed off the grid timber framed straw bale house and our timber framed barn using lumber from our farm. Interns will be involved in all aspects of our farm operation, including but not limited to the following: hoop house production, cultivation, pest management, compost management, seed bed prep., dynamizimg and applying B.D. preps, planting, harvesting, washing and packing produce for CSA and Restaurants, delivery of same, grass cutting, possible tractor operation, animal care, bee keeping, record keeping, and involvement in completion of the earthen bread oven. All interns must be able to lift 50lbs., have a valid drivers license, be physically fit and be passionate about what we are doing. Rustic housing will be provided, as well as as many delicious vegetables as you can eat. Stipen details to be discussed upon application. Other amenities are available – please ask us.
