U-Pick Peas … and more!

Filed under: Uncategorized — amyyahna @ 8:28 pm

U-Pick Crops Start THIS Saturday

U-pick Sugar Ann peas! The pod and the peas are edible and you eat the whole thing! They will be ready starting Saturday, June 23, through the weekend and the following week until they are gone. Each shareholder is allowed 2 lbs on this first pick for the season. If more become available, we will notify everyone.

There will be a wagon parked up by the pea bed with the scale (dont forget your bags) and signs showing the way. Amy and Brian will be at Cory’s graduation, so Judith will be there to help pickers.

Green Arrow shell peas are coming on strong as well, but will not be ready until next week, so after the Sugar Anns are harvested, there will be lots of shell peas. We will keep you posted as to when they are ready for harvest.

Volunteer Help Needed

As we mentioned before, we can use all the help we can get on the farm this time of year. It’s an open invitation, so come whenever your schedule allows and you want to!!! Just let us know when and we will be ready for you with a job!

  1. Wondering if the sweet “bread ladies” will be firing up the oven any time soon?
