Dogs, Coffee, and Cheese

DOGS

We love dogs, as you probably know, but we also want everyone’s canine friends to be safe. We have had a few situations occur recently on the farm which leads us to ask our members to be more cautious if they bring their own dogs when they come to the farm store. If you do, please keep your dog(s) in your vehicle while picking up your produce, and don’t let them run loose. We don’t want to see anyone’s pets hit by a car or get injured because of a fight with our dogs or anyone else’s. Dogs are territorial animals, and like people, not all of them get along instantly. If you come to volunteer, please don’t bring dogs with you — it’s unsafe to leave any animal in a car during these hot summer days.

COFFEE

We will have more freshly roasted coffee from FoJO for CSA members to purchase at the store. Payment should be dropped in the cash box on the table. Please put “coffee” on the memo line if you pay by check.

CHEESE

We will also have cheese samples from a new farmer who recently relocated here from Alaska. The name of their farm is Cranberry Ridge Farm, and they make raw goat and sheep milk cheeses. They hope to deliver to Alambria regularly to make this cheese available for our CSA members to order. So please try a sample and let us know what you think!
